I wish that was in the UK. I've had this idea in my head to make a bit of a lifted Baja-style MGB GT V8. I could either do it as standard RWD with an RR V8, or I could go the whole hog and swap the entire drivetrain from a V8 Range Rover and have a 4WD MGB GT V8 Baja. Not sure if it'd even fit, but I'd be happy to give it a try...

Inspiration came from this car:

I was also wishing that was over here, although my idea was just to take an angle grinder to everything above the doortops and have myself a Range Roadster.

If seen this done. With a cage and bikini top it works amazingly well.

Hah! There we go. Range Roadster - perfect.

Not exactly suited to these climes though. Would have to have rubberised interior and some drain holes drilled in the footwells...

Or for an asking price of $2000 you could have this very well cared for 93 Range (Mileage is not listed)
